Questions people ask
What does the MyChatBot connector do in Claude?
MyChatBot gives your business an AI sales agent that talks to customers on your website, Telegram, WhatsApp, and Instagram — answering questions, recommending products, capturing leads, and taking orders around the clock. This connector lets you build and run that agent from your Claude chat, in plain English, without opening a dashboard. Set it up. Point Claude at your website and it drafts the agent — name, greeting, and how it should sell — then shows you one card to approve. Nothing is created until you say so. Add a chat widget to your site, or connect Telegram, WhatsApp, and Instagram with one link each. Teach it your business. Tell Claude your shipping rules and returns policy and it writes the FAQ your agent quotes from. Point it at a product feed and it imports the whole catalog — indexed, searchable, and filterable by the attributes your customers actually ask about. Sell, don't just answer. Turn on order taking and the agent collects what it needs — name, phone, delivery address — and records the order in conversation, instead of handing the customer to a human. Run it day to day. Ask how the shop did this week and get orders, revenue, and the channels they came from. Read any customer conversation, see your newest leads, and check what your agent has learned. Reach out. Send one customer a message on their channel, or launch an outreach campaign to a whole audience — Claude previews exactly who it will reach and waits for your approval before anything sends. Improve it safely. Rehearse changes in a private test chat, and approve every change to your agent's instructions on a before/after card before a customer ever sees it. You need a MyChatBot account; connecting from Claude signs you in and can create one on the spot. No API keys.
Is the MyChatBot connector official?
It is made by MyChatBot Corp and carries the Anthropic verified mark in Anthropic’s directory. This site is independent and lists it from the official directory.
What is the MyChatBot MCP server URL?
https://connector.mychatbot.app/mcp. It is a remote MCP server hosted at connector.mychatbot.app. Paste it into Claude as a custom connector, or add it to Claude Code with: claude mcp add --transport http mychatbot https://connector.mychatbot.app/mcp
How do I add MyChatBot to Claude Code?
Run "claude mcp add --transport http mychatbot https://connector.mychatbot.app/mcp" in your terminal, then start Claude Code, type /mcp, choose mychatbot and sign in to MyChatBot. Add "--scope user" to make it available in every project.
Do I need a MyChatBot account?
Yes. You sign in to MyChatBot when you connect it, and Claude works through that account.
Can Claude change or delete my MyChatBot data?
Judging by tool names, 14 of its 38 tools can change data. The other 23 only read. In Claude you can choose, per tool, whether Claude must ask before using it.
