Questions people ask
What does the Sana from Workday connector do in Claude?
Connect Claude to Sana and Workday Agent-Ready Tools. The connector lets Sana and other enabled agents use the worker and organization information each person is allowed to see, then complete supported actions in Workday. Employees can check pay or time off, find policy answers, submit expenses, and manage supported approvals without leaving Claude. HR and finance self-service are available today, and the connector is built to support broader agent capabilities over time, including more specialized and multi-step work. As Workday adds agents, admins can make them available in Claude through the connector already in place. Developers can also use Workday Agent-Ready Tools to build agents for their custom workflows, using the same connection. Each request follows the roles, permissions, approval chains, and audit controls already configured in Workday. Your organization must have an active Workday Universal Main Subscription Agreement (UMSA) subject to applicable Product Terms and the relevant Workday agents configured in the Agent Management Hub. Available capabilities depend on your organization’s entitlements and configuration. Check Workday Community for details. The Sana from Workday connector is a Beta service. Workday admins can apply for access here: https://forms.gle/pz138pmAUE8x92B46
