mcp.grafana.com

On the developer’s own domain (grafana.com), not a third-party host. Claude sends requests here when it uses a tool.

    Questions people ask

What does the Grafana Cloud connector do in Claude?

Connect Claude directly to your Grafana Cloud stack to query metrics, logs, traces, and profiles, investigate incidents, and act on dashboards and alerts—all through a single hosted MCP endpoint with no self-hosting required. Requires a Grafana Cloud account. An administrator must accept the Grafana Assistant terms and conditions, and you need the Assistant Cloud MCP User role (Editor or higher has it by default).

Is the Grafana Cloud connector official?

It is made by Grafana Labs and carries the Anthropic verified mark in Anthropic’s directory. This site is independent and lists it from the official directory.

What is the Grafana Cloud MCP server URL?

https://mcp.grafana.com/mcp. It is a remote MCP server hosted at mcp.grafana.com. Paste it into Claude as a custom connector, or add it to Claude Code with: claude mcp add --transport http grafana-cloud https://mcp.grafana.com/mcp

How do I add Grafana Cloud to Claude Code?

Run "claude mcp add --transport http grafana-cloud https://mcp.grafana.com/mcp" in your terminal, then start Claude Code, type /mcp, choose grafana-cloud and sign in to Grafana Cloud. Add "--scope user" to make it available in every project.

Do I need a Grafana Cloud account?

Yes. You sign in to Grafana Cloud when you connect it, and Claude works through that account.

Can Claude change or delete my Grafana Cloud data?

Judging by tool names, 6 of its 61 tools can change data. The other 52 only read. In Claude you can choose, per tool, whether Claude must ask before using it.
