    Questions people ask

What does the AthenaHQ connector do in Claude?

AthenaHQ is a Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) and Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) platform for measuring and improving how brands appear across AI answer engines. Authorized users can analyze visibility and manage their AthenaHQ workspace from Claude. Key capabilities: • Analytics: share of voice, mention rate, citation rate, average position, trends, prompts, sources, attributes, and competitor benchmarks • Workspace management: create and manage prompts, topics, locations, tags, saved views, brand facts, content pillars, and tracked URLs • Content workflows: create, revise, approve, publish, move, restore, and delete briefs, drafts, and content • Account context: accessible websites, date ranges, authorized user lookups, and credit usage Access is limited to the organization and websites available to the authenticated AthenaHQ account. For Claude-authenticated sessions, Claude-sourced answer text and the prompt, source, and finding records derived from those answers are excluded from returned results. Other supported engines remain available. Authentication uses AthenaHQ OAuth or an API key.
